When I search for tracks, I have found that the filters don't seem to work. When I click on one, it checks an then disappears. I am not sure why I am having troubles. Could some one else check and see what's going on.

They're working for me. I'm using Chrome.

But they're sometimes a little finicky. Don't add too many too fast. And when you remove one, clear out the filter before removing it, or else it will still be applied.
