Is this topic dead?
Well that was really happy one, should be good in a disco. I'm not a fan of such helium vocals that are mostly only "aa aa oo oo yy yy ee ee" but the feeling is most important. I'd give it
7/10 (1-10 scale), the music itself is nothing special but the feeling is great ^^
Here is mine... okay, this song works best for Finnish people as the others don't get the vocals. So I guess it will get low points
But anyway, I freaking love it. Viikate is a Finnish band whose style is between metal, instrumental metal, evergreens, rock and some other genres. Their vocals are very poetic and can't be translated too well but hopefully the feeling can be translated via music itself.
This song, Työmies (Engl. Workerman) tells a story of a poor workerman. Nobody helps him, even though he tries to get work. But no, nobody helps even though this man "who knows the dark sky" tries his best. People tell him to go to hell, and if I understood those poetic lyrics well, he kills himself (half of the song is gone here). He starts his way to the underworld (piano starts) and when he was there, the boss of the underworld (alias devil) gives him a job: as a ferryman of the inferno. After the part without vocals (I love it <3) the song tells about crying people and probably tells about workerman's funeral. Yeah it's hard to give the feeling for you but I tried my best. Try enjoy : D
