My guess is that Nadeo has coded autosave replays to save the car information in a way that MX doesn't support.
But that's just a guess. Can you link to an example replay? Someone, *cough*TGYoshi*cough*, might be able to take a look.

As I understand it, it's not possible to recover the password. However, with some creative hex editing it is possible to remove the password from the map file.
