I dont know.. Stickyroads and the updated UI looks cool, same with the overall theme-change. I would be sad if it was on consoles and PC players would have to stick with only the old and useless UI in MP.
No idea if this will be implemented in MP...

Only stupid thing is that it will be out for PC as well. Otherwise, everything is very great news to me.
But this fact sucks ass, honestly. There's no reason to try it or move into it for PC players.

TM Turbo will be a finished and polished product. It wont recieve updates (except for bugfixes probably (lol)).
While MP and its games/titles will recieve updates and be Hylis experiment/toy and be in constant evolution.

to answer your question: to get money, and bring more publicity to TM as a whole. on the internet, as far as I've seen, the reception of TMTurbo was pretty good.
