Game keys for TM2 Stadium or Valley are bound to a user's login once he/she has used it. So if you are to trade with someone, they'll either need to trade their login along with it... or they'll need to have an unused key to trade.

... Mapper "Z" was most likely sent an invite, but didn't respond, which lead to the mapper not being in the event. There are too many scenarios to find a perfect answer to "if this, then this". Just remember that not all invites were accepted....
