I've been mapping for 9 years and I still learn new things!
Today I learned two things about the editor from watching eFFecT's stream.

1. You can hit the tab key to hide/unhide the items, blocks, terraforming, and macroblocks menus. This is nice as it gives you more space for building. It's been a common complaint among mappers who come from TMF that the folder hierarchy take up too much space. This solves that.

2. You can right click a folder in the items or macroblocks menu to make that folder the base one, so you have less folders to look through. This is especially nice in TMOne Alpine, as I can make the TMOne Alpine folder as the base one and don't have to have my other items visible. A down arrow appears which lets you bring back the original folder structure, if you wish.

Fun fact: if you ctrl-click a block while in ghost block mode, you will copy that block's particular variation. You can use this to force a certain variation of the block; for example, placing roads in the side of mountains without them automatically switching to their ground variation or forcing the air variation of pieces even when setting them on the ground.
