what about changing backgrounds?

I'm afraid that a changing background makes everything too "dynamic" and that it becomes more annoying to see it change constantly instead of cool since they take up a large portion of the screen unlike headers.

or what about changing it every day or sth
so we have one nice backgrond per envi?

Once the new headers have arrived, it would be cool if the background changed to match the environment.

I don't think it would be too distracting. Then again, I haven't seen it. Once the backgrounds are cached they should load fast anyway, shouldn't they?

Automatically changing it daily seems like a much more reasonable idea.

I'm sure we can all deal with it, but having a consistent background is, in my opinion, preferred.
Changing it every now and then doesn't hurt of course.
