1. Most pirates never had that "pirate" voice. In fact Blackbeard was the only one who did.
2. The stereotypical pirate accent is actually a Scottish accent. Not all pirates were Scottish.
3. Even among the saltiest of pirates, it was considered rude to call a woman a "wench". The corsairs of the Mediterranean, on the other hand...
4. ARRR was Blackbeard's catchphrase. He did a lot of stuff to maintain his monstrous (and slightly unrealistic) reputation that we now believe to be standard pirate behavior.

I may not be a pirate, but I've done a lot of research about them.

I do have to admit I'm in the market for a brigantine, however.
