Hello!

I'd like to to introduce you to a project of mine called "TMTrackNN" which is a track generator for TMNF & TM2 Stadium. The program itself can generate tracks of any length and it can currently generate Stadium tech tracks. It is worth to mention that the generated map files are compatible and open in both TM1 and TM2.

Keep in mind that the tracks aren't guaranteed to be 100% driveable and can contain impossible parts.

This is a second release of the project and it features some new features & improvements:

- Change the mood of the generated map in the UI
- A new "Build" executable which could be used for e.g automatic generation of maps for a server
- Performance improvements
- Other small fixes in the UI

The project uses neural networks to generate the track itself. The network was trained on top 3000 tech maps from TMX. If you are interested in details in how the program works check out this post!


I've been developing this project since 2018 and I'm planning to add more features in the future such as choosing a particular map style to generate and map size as well. You can also check out the source code for the project on GitHub (will be updated to the newest version soon).

Installation & usage: unzip the file, launch TMTrackNN.exe, customize the settings and click generate to save the track!

frighteningly good. Would be nice to have a version that creates only the route, without scenery, if possible.

The generator does only generate the actual route. The example tracks only were decorated manually by me.
