How tracks get value
o +10 for the first replay posted
o +1 for subsequent first replays from other players
o +1 for each replay by other players whose your replay beats
Note: The system remembers how many you beat last time you posted on the track, and deducts that from the value, so the effect is that it only adds the difference between how many you had beaten and how many you beat now.
How players get score
o Each player gets a % of the track value
o The % reduces by 4% per place, for the first 25 places
o So 1st place gets 100%, 2nd place 96%, 3rd place 92% and so on. 25th place gets 4%
Note: Your scores will automatically update as other people post replays on the track effecting its value and/or your place.
Limitations
o New replays must be fast enough to appear in the top 25
o Once a replay falls out of the top 25 it is considered 'inactive' and no longer counts.
Leaderboards
o One for an all time total of your scores.
o One for just your best 10 scores. (comming soon).
Classic Tracks
o The most successful (highly rated) tracks in the system eventually bow out and become classics
o This removes those tracks from the system and lets other tracks take center stage.
Note: The classic LB itself has not been developed, but its not important right now.
Nadeo Tracks
These are excluded from the main LB system as we will have a special Nadeo LB for them.
But the Nadeo LB is not ready yet. We hope to do develop soon though.
