I'm really struggling with this time limit of 3 to 5 minutes...

With my first map, it's possible to complete it in under 2:55 (astronomically difficult, but possible).

With my second map, a good time is over 7 minutes, but that can be trimmed down some.

Is the map duration a strict rule, is just a general guideline?
