To be honest, I'm not keen on the ManiaPlanet logo itself, the globe is cluttered at the size used in a banner. Not to mention the use of Arial for the maniaplanet text ...

I'm not sure whether the site team would be open to a brand new logo, maybe a fresh start would be a good idea.

It would been cool if the logo was a mix of the color from Canyon and Maniaplanet
"Brown/or Orange(canyon)" and "Blue/White(ManiaPlanet)" ?

well here is a try from me. i decided to ditch the planet and go with words.
Both are pictures of the same logo but i added a background to one so you could see the white words.

This is so difficult because we're trying to merge the modern look of the Maniaplanet logo with the rugged look of the TMX logo, and those two usually don't work well together.

I think this could be a great banner. Just white background with logo + the X and "mania exchange". This will keep the banner "clean".
