Yeah, I can't continue on the track without TM2Unlimiter. At this point in the development of the track it's used in almost every block placement.

I understand if arc_ may not want to update it, considering another update comes in less than a couple weeks.

So at this point we're at his mercy. I wrote in the TM2Unlimiter thread on ManiaCreative, asking for an update. We'll see what happens.
