Yeah, I knew that 50% was pushing it maybe a bit too much. Good points.

I remember there was a contest where you had to completely leave the ground within 5 seconds of touching it through the entire map. This is slightly more lenient, but 50% is a bit hardcore. Maybe like 33% could work.

I would time it btw so make sure you're in the clear when this theme drops.

Suggestion: Make any track that isn't awful on Maniaplanet 4

Rules: has to have atleast 200 seagull blocks.

now that mp4 has free wheeling tiles for all environments, I think it would be cool to have a theme where the driver starts immediately into a free wheel, and it lasts for the duration of the entire track.

That's a pretty good idea! Similar MTC's were held in TMUF and TMNF already and they proved to be a great success, so we will definetly have that one in mind for the future!

we just had that for the 90mc

Oh true, but it's still a good theme to use later on for the MTC itself.
And I see 90MC and MTC as separate enough competitions that if things do happen to overlap, I don't think that's a bad thing. 90MC focuses on how fast and also how well something can be built in 90 minutes, and MTC gives about a month to explore the theme - they're both building contests, but that same theme can be explored in different ways because of such.
I'd agree, to have the same themes back to back between the two contests would be somewhat repetitive, but every once in a while that itself could maybe be interesting (but not publicly announced of course), one time have a month for the theme, and then have to do such in 90 minutes, or vice versa.

Here is a stupid idea, a map in which the car must go out of the building area (maybe at least twice to make things a little bit more spicy?)
