Sophomore 2 - feedback request 2013-11-22 14:39:30  
Hey all,

I've done one map (Canyon) here on the exchange, called Sophomore 1. But for the creatively named Sophomore 2 I'd love some feedback. I'm not sure if it's too long, too hard, both, or even too easy?

Feel free to burn it down :d but please let me know where it can use any improvements. Thanks!

Hey wow thanks! Really detailed and really useful :d

Flow is definitely the keyword I think, and I've been staring blindly at maintaining that start because I liked the dam so much - will improve that :d

Alright, I think I've improved the flow. I killed a lot of darlings to make sure it would be more fun from the get-go.

It's shortened too.

  • Start has moved w/ boost and corner
  • Scenery improved on ramp up
  • Double bump eased but maintained (it was the best way to get the player up in this situation)
  • After the 3rd boost the angled corner has been made easier
  • Jump removed, replaced with trackless area to enable to player to choose an optimal line for the final corner(s)
