Btw, while I said that "I don't care" in regards to the building/judging phases, I do want to say that in normal BASCOs a building/judging cycle is a whole week, not 6 days. But that's just me being picky.

We cannot afford to make the Judging phase last a full week with 8 stages. That means 2 months just for judging and I think we need to actually build something at some point

I think osaka meant building + judging lasts one week. Together, not each of them. 4 days building, 3 days judging

What I want to avoid is this situation:
Imagine we had: Building phase from Monday to Thursday and judging ohase from friday to sunday.
What about busy builders, who have only time on weekends? They will never be able to submit a part, although they actually do have time during the whole BASCO period.
Thus I intentionally chose a "not-7-day"-cycle, as the building and the judging phase now rotate through the whole week.
At the moment we have 6 days per Stage. So the next longer possibilty is 8 days, which stretches the whole BASCO quite a bit (by 16days).

For the next Stage I will probably change the durations from 3 days and 3 days to 4 days building and 2 days judging.
