hey guys i'm trying to add custom sounds on a new track im doing but havent got a clue on what to do and no one seems to want to help me as i'm not a big name builder of rpg, guess i know where the priorities are in this game, but if someone can help me out that would be cool i have been asking for help from other people but they dont know anything at all please help if you can i wanna have this track released for haloween if possible

You have to put the music file (must be .ogg or .mux I think) and the Locator in: C:\Users\...\Documents\ManiaPlanet\Media\Musics

So there has to be a musicfile.ogg and musicfile.ogg.loc in the "Musics" folder.
Then you can click on the hammer button in the editor and somewhere is an option to set custom music.

I did not build for quite a time, so I'm not sure if some things have changed, but the principle should be the same (please correct me if I'm wrong).
You can also put single sounds (and music as well) on triggers in the media tracker (in case you want a sound to be played at a specific part of the track).

Thanks! I saw your nice tutorial and I thought it is a good idea to post the object tutorial I made for the MTC there as well.
I don't think that you can embed music. Besides that it's not necessary to embed it, as you do not need it to load the mapfile
