This happened to me when I tried to submit a replay from the Platform Titlepack. It didn't allow me to submit a replay from the titlepack, but it worked fine when I used "Install and Play" from mania-exchange. I'm not sure if this helps, but that is how I got around the problem.

My best guess is that MX isn't able to recognize it because it was in a Titlepack :/
