Will there be a new TMX-site for Turbo?

There's a built-in track sharing system in TMT, thus it is rather pointless for us to go compete with that.

There's a fair chance we'll however add onto that system after launch, as their system does not really seem sophisticated in any way. That simply implies the same data, but parsed in more detail and searchable. The goal of that is mostly to support things like featured tracks to showcase awesome tracks in the game, as the current system is to my knowledge a flat list of tracks sorted by upload date.

It'll for sure not be as sophisticated as MX in any way. TMT maps are very similar to MP technically, though, so it's not a lot of effort in the end.
But we will very likely see once the game releases. Chances are that their system suffices perfectly fine given that proper sorts exist :). Otherwise we will likely launch a "small" site quickly ;).

It still amazes me how blinded Nadeo is to the fact that TMX/MX were enormous, and I mean enormous, contributors to the game's success. Most of the biggest trackmakers probably never would have uploaded the maps they did, nor learned from other authors, if the system on TMX/MX didn't allow them to do so. Myself, sure I might have still made a few maps but they would have probably all just be self-indulgent messes.

This, which was preceded by the Steam Workshop fiasco. And I appreciate that Mr. A is always professional about this and doesn't complain, but I would be irritated myself. Unfortunately it's near impossible to quantify how much sales you've contributed towards by growing the community and making it more robust. But I bet if you could, you certainly wouldn't need a 'donate' button on the front of the site.

This, among many failures around Turbo, underscore Nadeo's pathetic business and moral sense, and also why I am unlikely to buy the game.

Yeah, also quiet disappointed about this. No real MX/TMX for TM Turbo will most likely lead to a small and anonymous (or at least character-missing) trackbuilding community in the ubisoft-system, without all the event- and mapping-opportunities we would've offered. Or personalized awards, leaderboards, etc.

Not that I've looked too closely, but I've heard there wont even be dedicated servers in Turbo. If that is the case that makes it an ever bigger HELL NO.

Are you guys saying there's definitely no chance for a MX site for TMT? That would be incredibly disappointing.

There are only dedicated servers but not as we know it on PC. Every player can make a server (room) from within the game and it will make contact to a remote server and it will run as a dedicated server. And I've also read it will then run 24/7 but I will look into how this exactly works in the next days. But ofcourse it's all very simplified compared to PC.
