Welcome to the ManiaExchange Monthly Track Contest (MTC), November 2015.
In the MTC your task is to build a track on a given theme (see below). Later on, all of the entered tracks will be rated and a winner will be found.
- Theme of the Month: Can you feel the waves?
The goal is to build a track that has a feeling as if you were a boat on the ocean that experiences many waves.
- You are not allowed to use more than three flat blocks in a row.
- A change from flat to banked counts as sloped (aka non-flat)
- banked ground itself counts as flat
- The slopes do not need to be big, but it is enough, if the player can feel how the car is going up/down.
- A jump from flat to flat does not count as a height change. Height changes must (partially) take place on a road/ground
- Deadline
All tracks should be submitted before the end of Sunday 22, November 2015 PDT.
- Prize
Honour and the right to brag! (Jozii used to say that. I hope anyone still remembers him? )
The top 3 winners will receive a showcase of a track of their choice (< 10 awards)
- General Rules
- Track-/Laplength below 2min
- Custom objects allowed
- Envimixing allowed
- Blockmixing allowed
- Custom Titlepacks forbidden - all Titlepacks from Nadeo allowed (Canyon, Stadium, Valley, TM2)
- No PressForward, PressBackward or press[AnyKey]-maps

- How to submit
- To enter a track, simply upload it and post a link to your submission in the submission thread.
- You can update your map within the deadline as many times as you want.
- Judging
We'll use the well known public judging system:- Everyone is allowed to judge, even players who submitted a map (give your own map a 10)
- Every map will be judged with marks from 1 (bad) to 10 (good).
- Note that you have to judge a stage entirely, you cannot judge only half of it.
More details will appear after submission ends
Good luck, and as always: If you have any questions, please ask

Examples
flat blocks = orange
sloped blocks = blue
This is an example of a track that is valid
This is is forbidden because the car has to drive over 4 flat blocks before it can reach the second slope again
The lower block combination is not allowed, because there are 4 flat blocks in a row.
What is a significant height change?
In general you should be able to see easily that the car is going up or down.
This block has a super small height change, so that you usually can not feel the height difference. Therefore this is a flat block.
This block on the other hand has a noticable height change for lower speeds already. That's why this block counts as a sloped block.
