You get Flamish flag if I get the flag of the city that I live in. And my address. The color of my roof and postal code.

As well all Americans could say they're from Texas, NY and Germans they are from Bayern and so on... I think this system with the flags of main countries is good.

And if you're so "disgusted" with the flag you get, simply choose "..." as nationality and you won't have to show off such an embarassing flag...

The list of countries derive from ISO 3166-1. ;) If your country isn't listed there, pick the one you're in or a sub-country of.

i've been on holiday, so back to the argument(s) discussion(s):

they weren't the British riots, they were the English riots,
on the census, the biggest way that the government gets data you have to select english, welsh, scottish, british etc. etc. why would you select a country if they are all the same?

oh, and finally -
forzyy says:

E.g 'Northern Ireland' isn't a country according to the specification, so pick 'Ireland' instead.

Northern Ireland is in the united kingdom - and definatly not Ireland. - hell of a lot of people would be offended by that.

a country is completely different from a state...
at the world football cup you don't have the California team, and the new mexico team. You have the U.S.A. team, in the same way you don't have the great Britain team, but you have the English, welsh, Scottish, Northern Ireland teams...

It says "Location" not "Nationality".

Are you trying to say that you live in England but don't live in the UK?

I don't get it. It sounds like complaining for the sake of complaining.

in basketball you have USA, and you have UK. football is the only sport where England is separated, just because they invented it.

Cricket = Called England, but run by the England and Wales Cricket Board, and they basically select all the best Irish and Scottish players anyhoo..........*cough* and South African players *cough* -- So might as well be UK + Ireland
Rugby Union = Yes, England.
Rugby League = Great Britain, actually :)
Hockey = Yes, England.

There's not exactly any consistency there. England doesn't compete at the Olympics, but Great Britain does. :)
