I'm fairly certain that means that, should you respawn at any CP, you can finish the map. The "unrespawnable by nature" refers to the Stadium ring CPs, which you physically can't respawn at.

What Arkive says. You can respawn from every other checkpoint block and you should be able to finish if you were to do so.

Four questions:

  • Can I turn around at a checkpoint?
  • Can checkpoints be crossed while driving backwards?
  • Can checkpoint objects be tilted and rolled? They do face the same direction when seen from above.
  • If a checkpoint is reused within a lap, is it necessary to cross it in its respawn direction?

    :p

1.- Technically, yes. It kinda looks like poor form but it's a legitimate thing to do, and you would respawn in the same direction to turn around so it's allowed.
2.- Again, technically yes, as long as the track is made that way and the respawn doesn't affect your driving direction in any way.
3.- I might need an example of this, you mean something like putting a checkpoint in a wall?
4.- Once you go through a checkpoint it stops being one until the next lap, so yeah, you can do that.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure. Because I believe some of the entries are not respawnable in their current state...

    My turn to ask;
Horizontal ring CPs, do they need to be passed int the same direction too?

That's one way to look at it:

The checkpoint in the middle is tilted and those on the sides are rolled. All should be facing the same horizontal direction, just like a flat checkpoint. Right? :$

In addition, what direction does this have?

1.- Ok, now I get it. Yeah, that's allowed.

2.- You have to touch it for it to be the finish right? It'd be like a point so no matter the direction it would always be facing the correct one. It's kinda janky, but the geometry works.

Clear: Those checkpoints don't have a respawn direction but they still have to face the same way as other checkpoints.
