I'm not going to +1 unlocking it, I have to admit it was starting to get out of hand having read the last few posts, but I will +1 a reboot with some rules to reduce spam. The idea was good, but not the implementation.

EDIT2: Although the "One man's trash is another man's treasure" discussion is over, I would like to mention a thread that I feel is absolute nonsense but apparently was one of the best threads on TMUX according to a lot of people: Post a picture of your shoes

That thread can include a discussion like the dream car topic, but it's too early to tell. We have to give it some time before passing judgement.

I feel you seem to have missed the point Windows.
We are only bothered about threads that are created purely to increase your post count. For example 'lets count to a million' is just that. But the 'numbers game' where you actually have to link a pic of the number is not just a excuse for posting.
Arguably 'post a pic of your shoes' is nonsensical, but it does have a valid topic that people are willing to discuss without being offensive of plain stupid. While you might not like it, others do.
But rest assured though, we'll always watch threads/topic and if they degenerate, action will be taken

Widely known might be a small exaguration of only my own opinion though But who doesn't like shoes!

Is that better

as previously stated though:
A: people don't know the order of the post count things;
B: Most people don't even care about them, and rarely look at other peoples.
C: Most regular forum members know which users spam and which make decent convo.

What i'm trying to say is, it might be there but most people don't look at it, or care about it, and even for those that do as MrA previously stated it's all a bit of fun, which only the mods care about - as far as i have seen no 'normal' users have ever moaned about it - and never asked for threads to be closed for this reason.
