Hello
I just tried uploading a race that has been updated today and I get the error, "The specified string length exceeds the specified maximum string length." What does this mean ?

I did try to upload the older version of the race again but I get the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have this same issue getting the error message with other races that I made from the map that I cannot upload, plus two others that are different maps and races.If I try to change the details/text on the map page that are already uploaded and have been there for months I get the same error message.I never had this problem before ?

I notice that the light calculations seem to take way longer than they used to too.Could there be a link with the problem here ? Are the maps too complicated all of a sudden ? I add that the affected maps all have internet foto''s linked,and have a lot of added lighting and complicated road systems, could this be part of the problem ? But other maps that are also uploaded to my page have foto''s and are unaffected ???

I will try and send it as soon as i can , send firefox com is down at the moment ,there is a message up I just checked.

Can you download it from my page ? I cannot change or update the text on this page, I just get the error message.Unexpected run time error comes up too above the warning.

This file also has the same problem.This has been on my page for a year.I can also not upload replays for these races, if I try I get the , The specified string length exceeds the specified maximum string length, message in red.

I think I found the issue. Sadly, you'll have to wait until the MX update comes out. Can take a few weeks.

Is there any news on the MX update Ozon ?

Has this got to do with lenght of text for the titles of races ? I did try giving my race an abreviated title to see if it would work but it didn''t. I updated my Journey To The Stars race yesterday, I saved it as JTTS but it will not upload I just tried it and another race that I made from that map but I still get the stringlenght fault message.Shame because almost all the foto''s I used on the map had gone offline when I checked the file, it took me ages to fix it , I rebuilt most of the map too. I hid the race anyway, no point.

the issue is the amount of signs / custom files you are linking in the map. The version of the new parser on MX is not prepared for so many - it is already fixed, but I'll not be able to update it before I finish the MX port of what you see on TMX.

It will take a little longer.
