BOO! The ManiaExchange Monthly Track Contest (MTC) Is here for this frightening month of October 2024! I am Arai, your spooky host.
Theme of the Month: A Dark Palace
The majority of your map must take place inside a spooky mansion!
Theme Specific Rules
- More than 50% of the time driven on the track must happen inside some sort of gloomy or spooky mansion. (A good ambiance is key!)
- Custom blocks are allowed
- Blockmixing is allowed.
- Duo maps are allowed.
- Author time must be between 20 seconds and 3 minutes.
Titlepacks allowed:
- TM² Canyon, Valley, Stadium, Lagoon, TMAll / MultiEnv, and Island
- TMOne Speed, and Alpine
General Rules
- MTC should be present in the track name. Example: "SuperCoolTrackName (MTC)" or "mtc|EvenCoolerName"
- Maps should be built in the most recent version of the game.
- Maps must be built during the month of this MTC.
- Maps requiring drivers to use OpenPlanet are NOT allowed
How to Submit
- You MUST upload your track to this mappack and optionally post a link to your map in this thread
Deadlines
- Your map should be uploaded before Monday September 28th @ 05:59 CEST. Submissions will continue to be accepted until I officially announce closure in this thread.
- Maps submitted within the deadline are allowed to be updated at any time.
Scoring
The method of scoring will change from this month onwards. More information will be given once the submissions are closed.
Prizes
The top 3 winners will see their best scoring map featured on the front page.
(If there are less than five contestants this month, only the 1st place winner will have their map featured)
Bragging rights and a feeling of accomplishment!
