My first track since the final release.
This track was made for the
GEEX 2011 TM² Public LAN Tournament in Utah, USA. Click the link for more details about it.
There are a couple well known transitions, but mostly it's a fairly easy speedtech. I tried to put an emphasis on always keeping the driver engaged. There are a number of areas to gain time on your opponents. The 180 degree banked drift is especially tricky, but you'll master it in no time!
I've put more work into the scenery than I have for a long time. I hope it shows.
Lightmaps have become a very important ingredient in good track design in TM², so I've tried to pay close attention to the lightmap and keeping the lighting good for visibility, as well as using it as a device for helping highlight the route.
I've made an outro and custom podium cams, because it was allowed for this competition. Don't get used to outros from me though, I probably won't do them much in the future. I prefer behind-the-car view for replays.
The track name comes from a state slogan for Utah.

As a bonus, enjoy this
HDR panoramic that I took in 2009 when I visited Arches National Park in Utah. It's comprised of 24 individual photos. It's 5120x1600. The file is 1.65 MB.
Looks just like the Canyon environment, right?
Map screenshot is by me. Here's a
large version without text.

Thanks to all my beta testers, but especially haenry who offered some very good feedback.
May 7, 2017: Track updated to ManiaPlanet 4.
EDIT 2022-12-08:
hec_ker showed me a screenshot he took of the map, and I've added it as the 2nd screenshot in the gallery.
