It's not limited to PPO, any server could enable it for RASP karma (in PPO) for Xaseco2 with some small extension. In combination with TMKarma is also possible to some degree. ManiaControl also has it built-in by default. Or implementing it yourself...

Ah ok, so the online Map Rating is only related to the Playpal Servers.
I thought it was a parallel map rating system to karma.
