4. I figured that after the July/August MTC's end, if osaka wasn't going to do a September MTC it seemed that no one would do a September MTC. So I asked if I could give it a go, and, well, maybe the choice of doing the September MTC this way wasn't the correct one in the end. But now is not the right time for such a debate.

Wait Wait Wait, I believe you are wrong here.. Some of the players said they would like/try to do a mtc for September

Personally, I think this MTC is fine in terms of its theme. Perhaps a bit unstable, but this isn't technically official anyways. I've never worked with scripts in ManiaPlanet, so I don't know the ins and outs of what you can and cannot do. I'm having fun crafting my map, but I can easily see where others might find it frustrating. This theme allows for something a little bit different in exchange for a few technical hiccups here and there. Is it acceptable for a standard MTC? Perhaps not, but this is a special case we're talking about.

I'll certainly have a map for this MTC, and I hope others will as well. ;)

What about Valley? There are quite a lot of objects for both of the other environments and none for Valley besides some arrows. That feels really weird - especially as Valley has the most incomplete blockset.

Honestly I was giving this "guest host" thing a try and it's working much better than expected, specially considering that the contest has its own set of built-in nuances. If anyone else wants to get their feet wet I can oblige in the future.

I won't compete, since this is not my style to change physics, neither with this titlepack nor using the TMUnlimter 0.7 for TMNF, but others seems to like it. Nice too see how you have fun building such a map, that's the feedback every host wants :d

ok considering the gravity malfunctioning:
what if i build a map wich works perfect for me?
but once on the server the gravity applies? making it undrivable or not able to respawn from the cp's? (auto ban considering your first post)
if any of the above things occure this would seem really unfair to me..

Ok, since you seem to be having issues that either no one else has or no one else is reporting, can you actually build an example map that works on your end and send it to me? It doesn't need to be complicated, it just needs to demonstrate the issue that you seem to have. I feel kind of bad that you're having these issues because no one else has reported these issues. Of course it may be that others are having something similar happen, but I can't be sure without people telling me. As soon as this post, well, posts, I'm going to take a look and see if I can do something about it.

Click on the hammer icon, then click "Set Map Objectives." This has three spots you can put in custom values for (respecting the given range, of course).
