I have a general question considering the given rules: What setting changes do you consider "noticably"? I used 0.5 as the acceleration factor, 0.75 as the control factor and 1 for the gravity factor (as it seemed that the game randomly decided what impact that setting had). My settings create a slow-motion feel which is very easily noticable for Valley players but might not be as obvious for non-Valley-players. Does that mean that it is ok to use such settings or are you forced to use settings that make it completely obvious for everyone?

To me they'd feel obvious, but you might have a point. However, they could always look at some valley footage if they're not sure and compare, and the difference would be noticeable.

send real a PM with a test track. one version on 0.2 the other on 1.0 gravity, steering and acceleration also adjusted but these work fine.

edit:
anyways No more need to look to me. I'm leaving on vacation within a few days..
would've been nice to make something if everything worked fine...

edit 2:
So i received answer from Real. and it seems to be a one sided problem with my computer. or software or whatever :p

multilap kills every possibilty of saving a replay since online mode doens't save it in the Autosave folder (denying multilap cut).

can't upload my map - MX says it's not validated...

e/using multilap - can that be the reason?

I'm assuming that you updated your titlepacks, but just in case, remember to do so. I'll relay the concerns to real right now.

Ok, good to know.
I'll have to rebuild the titlepack, but I should have a fix released tomorrow. I'm also going to push back the deadline to the 21st. Hang in there guys.

UPDATE: The maptype does support multilap blocks, after testing. Make sure you save right after validation.

I just noticed this thread (I've kinda been out of TM for a while), and...this is pretty cool! Twenty percent gravity is a fun thing to experiment with! I'm not sure if I'll have something by the 21st, but I'm going to give it a try. :)

I'm curious about the limits (e.g. gravity can't go below 0.2)--is that just because it's a hard-coded limit in the game itself?

You can have -X% Gravity in TMNF w/TMUnlimter 0.7 :p

I asked this to real while testing and apparently it's a maniaplanet limitation, yeah. It kinda sucks, I wanted to try making a track on valley with 1.25 accel and steering.
