they're not styles, but types. and not possible to build such maps atm.

I think tech and speedtech are closer together in this game than speedtech and speedslide. Tech is, for me at least, using the brake button a lot, not braking for a long time. Therefore I think styles with 'tech' in it should involve lots of braking and styles with 'slide' in it should involve long sliding sequences.

Well in Canyon, your version of speedtech would be a lot less common, once again due to drifting - there's no point in slowing down slightly to make a turn at a high speed when you can just cleanly slide through it.

For me there have always only been two main styles: Tech and Full Speed. And sub genres from there.

Any track with brake = Tech
Any track without brake = Full Speed

Full Speed subgenres for Canyon:
-Full Speed No Slide
-Full Speed Transition Slide (Translide)
